Anyone interested in registering for the fall of 2025-2026 may do so on that day. Registration papers will be available that day or forms can be downloaded by clicking on "The School" tab at the top of this page and then "Applications and Forms".
WHO WE ARE
Our Program
We welcome you and your child to our Preschool Program at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. This program is designed to give your child the best possible beginning to his/her individual educational process in a safe, secure and Christian atmosphere. Through the use of developmentally appropriate practices, we will foster your child's development in the following areas: cognitive, emotional, social and physical. We believe each child is a unique gift to us and we desire to lay a strong foundation for your child's future in each of these areas.
Our Goals
Our goals are to enable each child to do the following:

grow in trust, independence and initiative

develop a positive image of self

develop a curiosity for the world and an enthusiasm for learning

explore the world around him/her

enjoy creative expression through music, art and other activities

learn how to get along with others by taking turns, expressing feelings appropriately and treating others kindly

refine and develop both large and fine motor skills

adjust to a school routine and find that learning is exciting
